Yong Zhang Ph. D. (University Leipzig, Germany, 2003)
Associate Professor in Theoretical Physics (University Wuhan, 2012-present)
His research interests focus on the theoretical study in two fields: the one is quantum field theory and the other one is quantum information and computation. Quantum field theory combines quantum mechanics with special relativity. Quantum information & computation represents a modern development of quantum mechanics as a new type of advanced quantum mechanics.
Since 2004, he has devoted his main spirits to the research project called Integrable Quantum Information and Computation in which quantum information and computation are transmitted or performed in integrable systems. Interested visitors are invited to refer to his research proposal submitted in 2011,arxiv.org/abs/1111.3940, or refer to the .ppt file with the title "Integrable Quantum Computation" in the following links.
His teaching courses include quantum field theory (Spring semester) and quantum information & computation (Fall semester).
Lecture notes on quantum field theory (I) and lecture notes on quantum information and computation (I) can be downloaded in the following links. These notes certainly have all kinds of typos or errors, so they will be updated from time to time.
